Report: Russia, Turkey, UN can meet in Istanbul to mull grain deal
ANKARA, Aug 24 (PRIME) -- Russia, Turkey and the U.N. can hold a meeting in Istanbul to discuss the grain deal, Milliyet newspaper reported on Thursday citing sources.
“One of the options to activate the (Black Sea grain) initiative can become a new meeting of Russia and the U.N. in Istanbul,” the newspaper reported.
“It was also discussed that the meetings should he held in a trilateral format with participation of Russia, the U.N. and Turkey, and in case of progress it can be transformed to a four-party format with participation of Ukraine,” the newspaper also reported.
